David R. Lane

David R. Lane was born in San Jose, California and raised in neighboring Butte County. He has been practicing law in Yuba and Sutter Counties for over 45 years. He joined the firm in 1973 and has been a shareholder of the firm since 1976. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the Napa County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as an interim administrative hearing officer for the State of California, hearing welfare appeals prior to working in the Napa District Attorney’s office.
He is a California Family Law specialist and has been certified since 1980 by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Lane primarily practices in the area of Family law, however, he has substantial experience and practice in Criminal Law, Real Property Law, Personal Injury, Corporate Law, and Municipal Law. He has acted as Judge Pro Tem for various types of matters in the local courts. He has been named as a Top Attorney by the San Francisco Magazine, and Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine.
